Disability community falling back into the old times

So with everything that’s happening there is a big budget cut a New York state for people with disabilities that receives money through  The government to cover medical insurance, housing  , Self Directed Services , staff / care givers ,food  and etc. This is going to put a huge financial impact for the disabled community. And Most of the people With disabilities are unemployed . Looks like we’re falling back into things that we should not be falling back To those times were people with disabilities were thrown into institutions even they had huge budget cuts and then what happened was horrific they were jampacked everybody body to body,Living in filth, Nothing to do but just sit there all day no social interaction, no inclusion and not being out in society. In this new generation we deserve to have the life that we want to live. We deserve to be in society like the rest of the people because we’re humans just like each , we deserve to have a social life because we’re social human beings just like you guys and everyone of you. it’s time to let society not have control over us because that’s what they’re trying to do and they don’t care.
